We capture the spirit of summer with our Sweet Tea Gin through a harmony of juniper, matcha, chamomile, and black teas with a touch of citrus.
The taste profile is herbal forward with hints of citrus. It is perfect for refreshing a classic cocktail like a Tom Collins or you can just add lemonade.
-Gin Infused with Sweet Tea-
UpEnd Sweet Tea Gin is distilled and blended to create a spirit that can bridge the gap between those who typically shy away from gin and the gin enthusiast.
Our aim is to upend the perception of gin as a singular flavor profile and highlight the broad range of styles and botanicals in gin recipes. To build on our vision, we began developing a citrus forward gin. We balanced that out with a mix of different teas. As the spirit developed, it became increasingly reminiscent of a homemade sweet tea and UpEnd Sweet Tea Gin was born.
Experimentation is everything; so sip it, mix it, but most of all enjoy it. UpEnd your perception of gin. We say, it’s not where you start, it’s where you EndUp.
Drink with care | Choose quality over quantity.
1.5 ounces UpEnd Sweet Tea Gin
1 ounce Sweet vermouth
0.75 ounce Green Chartreuse
2-3 dashes Orange bitters
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish.
We like to switch the sweet vermouth for aperol. In any case, this cocktail is full of character. Herbaceous, bitter notes, and the slightest touch of sweetness.
2 ounces UpEnd Sweet Tea Gin
0.5 ounce Fresh lemon juice
0.25 ounce Lavender syrup
Teaspoon of Lavender buds
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into martini or couple glass and garnish with lemon wheel.
This is a floral cocktail that is sweet and a little tart. Add some lavender buds to the top to enhance the bouquet.
2 ounces UpEnd Sweet Tea Gin
1.5 ounces Elderflower Liqueur
0.5 ounce Fresh Lime (or lemon) juice
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake. Strain and pour into a coupe glass or over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime (or lemon) twist.
We slightly prefer the lemon version. However, both are a great twist on the classic gimlet, offering a more floral and complex flavor profile.
